Last updated: April 2026
1. Service Description
- HistoCraft is a browser-based report formatting and structuring tool designed exclusively for licensed anatomopathologists and other qualified healthcare professionals.
- The service provides customizable templates based on published scientific literature and international reporting guidelines, enabling professionals to generate structured histopathological reports more efficiently.
- HistoCraft is NOT a medical device within the meaning of EU Regulation 2017/745 (Medical Device Regulation). It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, predict, prognose, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
- HistoCraft does NOT perform any analysis, interpretation, or evaluation of medical data. It does not provide clinical decision support, diagnostic suggestions, or treatment recommendations.
- HistoCraft is a report formatting tool only. All medical content, diagnoses, conclusions, and clinical decisions are made exclusively by the licensed professional using the software. The software merely formats and structures the professional's own input.
- Templates are generic scientific frameworks provided for formatting convenience. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical guidelines, or standard-of-care recommendations. Templates may not reflect the most current guidelines or protocols in your jurisdiction. The professional must independently verify the accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness of all template content.
- We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.
2. No Patient Data Storage
- HistoCraft does not store any patient data, patient-identifiable information, or health-related data on its servers.
- All patient-related data entered into the application (including but not limited to patient names, specimen descriptions, diagnostic findings, and report content) is processed exclusively within the user's web browser and is never transmitted to or stored on HistoCraft's servers.
- When a user closes their browser or navigates away from the application, all patient-related data is discarded from the browser's memory.
- The only data stored on our servers is: your account information (name, email address), subscription status, and application preferences. None of this data constitutes health data or patient-identifiable information.
- HistoCraft is not a platform for storing, archiving, or managing patient medical records. Users must not rely on HistoCraft as a medical record system.
- Users are solely responsible for saving, archiving, and managing their generated reports through their own institutional systems in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Professional Responsibility & Disclaimer
- HistoCraft is intended for use exclusively by licensed healthcare professionals who are qualified to produce histopathological reports. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you hold the necessary professional qualifications and licenses in your jurisdiction.
- YOU ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY RESPONSIBLE for the medical accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness of every report you generate using HistoCraft. The software does not validate, verify, or assess the medical content of your reports in any way.
- HistoCraft does not provide a second opinion, quality check, or peer review of your diagnostic work. All errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in generated reports are the sole responsibility of the authoring professional.
- You must review and verify all generated report content before using it for any clinical, diagnostic, or patient care purpose.
- You acknowledge that template content is generic and may require adaptation to your specific case, institutional protocols, and jurisdictional requirements.
